Sure!

How should I prepare for the day of the sale?

  1. Display Setup:

    • Use tables and racks to display items. Keep items off the ground if possible.
    • Arrange your setup in a U-shape or L-shape to maximize space and allow for easy flow.

  2. Organize Clothes:

    • Hang clothes if possible, as it makes them easier to look through. Sort by size and gender.

  3. Highlight Special Items:

    • Place desirable items like furniture, electronics, or collectibles where they can attract attention but aren’t immediately at the sale’s entrance to encourage browsing.

  4. Create a Free or Bargain Bin

    • Offer a bin or area for very low-priced or free items, especially good for attracting attention and clearing out less desirable stuff.

  5. Change and Payment:
    • Have plenty of change available and decide if you’ll accept digital payments (like through Venmo, Zelle, PayPal, or Cash App). Have a secure money box or pouch.
